End of Quarter Schedule

We're almost finished!!  It's gone by really quickly, hasn't it?  Here's what we'll be doing for the rest of the quarter.  Good luck to all of you!

Aug 6 - Aug 9:  Pathways Unit 9; Grammar - comparatives/superlatives

Aug 13: 
  • Turn in your presentation notes and email your ppt to me.
  • Final Speaking Test (conversation with Debbie)
  • Final Listening Test
Aug 14:
  • Seattle Neighborhood Presentations
  • Final Grammar Test 
Aug 15:  Get grades and have a party or watch a movie - you tell me!

Aug 16:  Register for fall quarter (your RWG teacher will tell you what time to come) 

Then... Have a great break!!!  Hope to see you in September!!

Weekend Homework

  1. Visit your neighborhood with your group/partner and interview.  Have fun!
  2. Make a vocabulary study sheet for Pathways Unit 9.  Write the new words on page 164 (10 words in a purple box), page 165 (4 words in a purple box), and page 166 (5 underlined words).Write the definition in your language AND in English.
  3. Find out two interesting facts about the Maasai of Kenya, the Sami  of Finland and Norway, and the Aborigines  of Australia.
